Behind the scenes of Slow waves
We have a friend who is a therapist, and we are so impressed with how he can cope with everybody else’s problems. We wanted therefore to make a short film about how a therapist gets the extra strength to help others. The film was shot during a weekend, and we got all our nabours to help out as actors.
The film was shot using a Sony FS7. We filmed on a location right next to a highly trafficked road, and so using a directed microphone aided us in separating out the sound we wanted, i.e. the voices and natural sounds to the pictures. The underwater shots were filmed using a Sony S7R mkII with an underwater housing. The behind the scenes shots were filmed using a Sony NX30. Editing was done in Premiere Pro and graded with Film Convert.
