Cutting-edge digital marketing forms a major part of the success of the RØDE brand, and we are looking for a Head of Marketing Technology to join the marketing leadership team to take our capabilities, efficiencies and results to the next level. Reporting to the Marketing Director, this is a strategic role leading a team of developers and data specialists encompasses the creation and maintenance of all our MarTerch platforms and outputs, including web development, distributor extranet functionality, eDM and marketing automation capability, analytics and social media connectors. This is a new role, and offers an outstanding opportunity in a rapidly-growing company to establish a best-in-class marketing technology stack that will sit at the heart of RØDE’s marketing success.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a team of developers and data specialists to deliver and maintain all MarTech platforms, including websites, extranets, marketing automation tools, CRM systems and social media connectors
  • Ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and to a spectacularly high quality level
  • Developing and delivering a MarTech platform strategy that meets business growth requirements and is aligned with wider company objectives
  • Being a key member of the marketing leadership team, actively suggesting how marketing goals can be better achieved with innovative technology solutions
  • Ensuring all MarTech implementations fulfil all legal requirements in terms of privacy and data handling both locally and internationally
  • Guaranteeing the security and safety of all information systems
  • Managing the specific internal IT tools for our creative teams (video server, Adobe Creative Could etc)
  • Working closely with the Head of Corporate IT to ensure alignment with wider business IT systems and processes
  • Manage and negotiate contracts and renewals with vendors, working with key stakeholders across the organisation such as Legal and Corporate IT as required

 You will require the following skills and experience to be successful:

  • Tertiary qualifications in IT, Marketing, or any Business related discipline
  • Developer qualifications in C++, PHP, Java, Ruby, Javascript, HTML or CSS
  • A detailed knowledge of the following developer tools / platforms:  C++, PHP, Java, Ruby, Javascript, HTML, CSS
  • A proven track record in Marketing Automation, Analytics and Technology, with strong experience working across marketing technology stacks in Customer Data Platforms (e.g Asana, ZenDesk, AWS,) as well as custom-built platforms
  • Demonstrated experience working with customer database and large data sets
  • Proven experience in writing detailed and complex requirements into simple and reliable solutions
  • Highly analytical with strong problem solving and decision making skills
  • Strong communication with the ability to collaborate broadly with a variety of stakeholders
  • 5+ years' experience as a full-stack web developer, including developing and managing custom CMS
  • 3+ years' experience in Marketing Analytics, Automation, and Technology or a similar role.
  • 3+ years in a team leader or senior team member role
