We require a New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer who is a highly motivated individual with experience in Manufacturing. This role is part of the New Product Development team and will act as the bridge to the Production Department to provide a smooth introduction of new products.

Your responsibilities will include

  • The creation of Manufacturing Documents (BOMs, Work Instructions, Workflow and Time Studies)
  • Developing and delivering inter-department communication in relation to new product releases
  • Transfer of Tools/Jigs/Assembly aids to Production
  • Train production operators and ensuring operators consistently produce quality outputs
  • Managing samples from suppliers.
  • Time and motion studies
  • Workflow for pilot and 1st production

 

The tools you bring will be enhanced by our Technology, to be considered for this role you will need

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Production Engineering or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience in a Manufacturing Environment and Product Development
  • Background in both Electrical and Mechanical products will be highly regarded
  • Strong computer literacy including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, MRP Systems and Solidworks Composer (preferred)
  • Ability to work as a team member in a challenging environment
  • Strong process-orientated
  • Ability to be proactive and use initiative
  • Enthusiastic and positive attitude to work.
