Your responsibilities will include

  • Define regulatory requirements necessary for new and developing products
  • Administer compliance and certificate programs for current and future products.
  • Work with certifying agencies to ensure product conformance is achieved and maintained.
  • Understands regulatory trends and keeps current with new regulations.
  • Reviews and updates compliance documents.
  • Generates declarations to certify the compliance of RØDE products.
  • Supports Marketing and Sales in assessing existing and/or designating future certifications.
  • Provide guidance on global markets environmental compliance such as ROHS, REACH and WEEE.
  • Submit and maintain official paperwork and final approval from the proper government or regulatory bodies
  • Be the main point of contact for all third party test lab works
  • Manage internal and 3rd party test lab efforts including quotes, purchase requisitions, invoicing, scheduling, equipment needs and general relationships.
  • Work closely with hardware design teams throughout the product life cycle in order to obtain the required regulatory compliance and safety certifications by: specifying regulatory and safety requirements; completing pre-testing of the hardware platforms developed by the design team; and supporting the team through product execution.
  • Determine and interpret relevant compliance and safety standards against which to test hardware, based on specific use cases.
  • Create and maintain the compliance project schedules

The successful candidate will be

  • Able to follow processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
  • Self motivated and able to handle multiple activities on a daily basis
  • Experienced with testing of electronic products especially for EMC and RED
  • Experienced with product risk assessment.
  • Experienced submitting and maintaining official paperwork and final approval from proper government authorities
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to interface with all levels of employees, vendors, and customers.
  • Minimum three - five years of experience in Regulatory Compliance, including experience working with third party agencies for certification and audit of products.
